I called Native for a spring startup of my irrigation when I had a couple fitting breaks. They were fully booked, but one of the few that tried and succeeded fitting me in within a reasonable time of a week. The husband and wife team who came out where nice and very knowledgeable. You can’t go wrong with using Native Nursery as your plant vendor! We have been using them for about 1.5 years now and have been nothing but impressed. The quality is great, communication is fantastic and the turn around time is good. We have even called when we were needing more plants on a jobsite and they had everything out to us within an hour. I initially contacted a different company to undertake a comprehensive project that would include hardscaping, landscaping, irrigation, lighting, and the construction of a pergola. Regrettably, after two weeks of progress, the company abruptly ceased work and became unresponsive to my attempts at communication. It had been recommended to me by colleagues to call Native Design to rectify the situation. Jacob conducted a meticulous assessment of the project and offered creative direction, practical solutions, and a range of options tailored to various budget considerations. Native Nursery is by far the best wholesale nursery in Knoxville. Ted gets the best trees, conifers and shrubs that are top notch. If they don’t have it, Ted will get it! Native was recommended to me by my neighbors and I am very glad I gave them a try.  I have an existing irrigation system and it had problems I couldn't sort out on my own. I hired this landscaping business expecting a professional and thorough design process, but the experience was far from that. The designer rushed through the initial consultation, and overlooked several key details of what I had in mind for the project . After nearly 6 weeks of waiting, I received blueprints that did not reflect what I had envisioned. The design did not match the discussed layout and had an inaccurate outline of the landscape, lacking labels and references of plants to specific parts of the project. Despite being promised a second set of detailed blueprints, all I received was a rough sketch sent via email with no real explanation. The designer also failed to provide any educational guidance on the various design elements, which I was hoping for, as I'm new to landscaping and wanted to better understand the options and decisions being made. To make matters worse, I was charged a consultation fee that was never discussed or approved. On a recent visit, I was impressed by the knowledgeable sales people. They have fair pricing and great advice. Landscaping is intimidating, and I don't know what I'm doing. They made me feel welcome and helped me find solutions to help resolve a problem area on my land where nothing would last through till next season. I was pleasantly surprised that after calling Nature Design and Landscaping looking for someone to winterize my lawn sprinkler system, they were able to come out the very next day.  Upon their arrival, I found out that they had travel to through a snow/traffic area, to get here.  Most companies would.normally reschedule. I had made the mistake already of waiting too long to get this done, so I was happy they still came.  They were an extremely friendly, nice couple, who did a great, thorough job. We had a great experience with Native Design.  We had a landscape design before we met Jacob and he and his team took it to the next level.   They installed 3 separate retaining walls, pool and patio decking, sod, lake supplied irrigation, well thought out landscape planting and placement , grading, stone walkways, driveway drainage, lot drainage, a driveway rock feature, and fencing to enclose our pool.  The project was complicated given the slope of our lot and additions and challenges along the way.  Jacob had an immediate and creative solution for each one.   The crew was very courteous and respectful during the 16 week project.  Jacob remained within budget and was fair when new expenses arose.  It was impossible to anticipate every need up front, but he finished on time for us to get our house occupancy.   We were not in the area during most of the project and he kept us up to date on the progress.  He also worked well with our builder which was critical to stay on our timeline.  The irrigation team walked me through my 12 zone system and explained in detail how it works and how to maintain it being supplied from a lake.  We would definitely recommend Native Design and would have done more work directly with him had we met sooner in our project. I had a hill in the backyard that was covered in invasive plants and was too steep to be usable.  Jacob and the crew at Native Design transformed that hill into a beautiful two-tiered wall with boulders.  It is now a lovely space that gives me so much more room for my garden. I just recently signed up for spring and  winterization services with Native Hardscapes And Design. About a week later, I discovered I had a leak in my irrigation system. I called Native for help and they were out the next day. The crew was very thorough and they explained each step of the repair needed to me along the way. The customer service is lousy. The CFO, Jonathan, is arrogant, a very poor communicator, and less than helpful. His replies via text and verbal were sarcastic. When I submitted a request to work with a sales person, he refused to put me in touch with one. He said I had to pay ~300.00 for a consultation. Janie and I are totally thrilled and blessed with everything Native Design and Hardscape accomplished for us! Our water feature is amazing! It was designed and landscaped as though it had been there forever.  Our old trees and shrubs from the original landscape were kept but overgrown for our home. Jeran took what we had and used what fit and totally redesigned our front yard and around the house. He took our vision and took it to the next level. From the lighting, sprinkler system, stone work, planting, mulch and transplanting each crew knew the job and performed each responsibility flawlessly. The crew leaders communicated with us daily and watching our yard transform was incredible. Alot can be said when the employees are happy and have been with a company for many years, this is the working culture and success Native Design and Hardscape brings to the customer. Our HOA hired Native to fix many problems with our irrigation systems.  Daniel and Sam were the best.  They were in constant communication with me as the POC, were professional, knew exactly what they were doing and followed up.
